The Punjab government is spending huge amount on different development projects under Tameer-e-Punjab and Annual Development Programme (ADP) to improve the living standard of common man and, bring progress and prosperity in the district of Attock. The projects include the provision of drinking water in Attock, Hassanabdal, Fatehjang, Pindi ghep tehsils, and upgradation of Tehsil Headquarters' Hospital Pindi ghep.

Finance & Planning department sources told APP here on Monday under Tameer-e-Punjab Programme 16 projects for construction of pavements would be initiated with the cost of Rs 17.4 million while Rs 0.6 million would be spent on new buildings of Press Clubs in Fatehjang, Pindi ghep and Jand.

Furthermore, Rs 14.6 million were being spent on the rehabilitation of roads in the district including two main roads of the Attock City.
